Our second major project has been in partnership with My Green Story and Bigship. It involves the planting of Mangrove trees which result in a significantly elevated carbon absorption. The initiative to plant a minimum of 1 million trees creates a wholly integrated sustainability story with recycling and beehive projects on the same land providing income for communities.
Update:
In February 2021, Mangrove restoration project with Bigship CBO and My Green Story has planted 39,222 mangrove trees at the creek. In conjunction with our partner organisation; Big Ship – we have a long-term goal of planting 1.5 million mangrove trees across 1050 acres.
