Our Pillars
The earth is not just our environment. The earth is our mother.

Effects of deforestation
Deforestation is responsible for as much as 30% greenhouse gas emissions. Trees are the biggest plants on our planet, they give us oxygen and keep our air clean by filtering out carbon and other pollutants from the atmosphere. Water cycles are also affected by deforestation as the content of water in the soil is reduced and this causes erosion, flooding and landslides. Trees are a significant part of our eco system extracting groundwater through their roots and releasing it into the atmosphere as they provide home to birds, insects and wildlife.
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Hey everyone!
This is Rayna, daughter of the person this foundation is named after!
I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates with you all. We’ve recently revamped our website and undergone a rebranding (including a new logo—huge thanks to Demas at Witflair for everything!). Along with these changes, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve renamed the old ‘Education’ Pillar to ‘Knowledge.’
Why the change?
Well, in today’s world, with our mix of generations from completely different times and the varying perspectives we have on learning, I felt it was essential to broaden our definition of this Pillar. Education often gets narrowly interpreted as just “school,” but it’s SO much more than that.
Coming from a generation where we frequently discuss how traditional systems and curriculums have endlessly let us down, I wanted to ensure that there’s no misunderstanding across the board.
The term ‘Knowledge’ feels much more inclusive and appropriate to me and the morals of this foundation so I hope it does for you too! It allows us to highlight that we’re not just talking about academic study, but also about empowerment, awareness, creativity, mental health… and the ongoing encouragement that you are always learning—whether it’s in or outside a classroom and whether you are 6 or 86.
Here’s to celebrating learning and knowledge in all its forms! 🥳
Health is the greatest gift.
